Project:
The Gettysburg Address
in Global Translation

For this project, we direct Abraham Lincoln to deliver the Gettysburg Address in multiple languages.

Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address on November 19, 1863, and it has since become one of the most famous speeches of all time. In addition to eulogizing the Union soldiers who gave everything, the speech also affirms the American ideal that all people are created equal. It is a powerful message, and that is why we are eager to share the Gettysburg Address with as many people as possible, in the US and beyond, no matter what language they speak.
